Am I On AI reads ChatGPT and Google AI Overview only
Am I On AI's Pro and Prism plans read ChatGPT and Google AI Overview (its pricing page). Its pricing page lists no other engine on any plan and no engine to add. So Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Mode answers about your brand stay out of view.
Each engine writes its own answers, so each can name different brands for the same question. BotSay asks all six on every plan, through each provider's official developer access or a licensed search-data provider, with web search switched on where the engine offers it. Am I On AI does not publish a likely range or a test for a real change
Am I On AI scans your brand every week (its product page), as BotSay does. Its product and recommendations pages publish no likely range for its figures and no test for when a change is real. Without them, a move in a weekly figure does not tell you on its own whether you moved.
BotSay gives your Mention rate a likely range, the span the true rate almost certainly sits in, and shows how many answers it rests on. When the rate moves, BotSay runs the exact test on both weeks and labels the change as real once it clears their combined uncertainty. BotSay ranks the work by how many questions it could win
Am I On AI gives weekly action items based on your ChatGPT answers, and lets you log the items you took and measure before and after (its recommendations page). Its recommendations FAQ says to plan 3 to 4 hours a week. Its site does not say how the items are ranked.
BotSay's action list is drawn from the answers on all six engines, and gives each item the number of your questions it could win:
- Pages to write: topics where rivals are named and you are not.
- Places to be mentioned: the review sites, communities and publishers the engines lean on, and whether you are on them.
- Quick decisions: small choices that make your numbers more accurate, like confirming which sites are yours.
