What is AI visibility?

AI visibility is how often, and how favourably, AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews name your brand when people ask the questions your buyers ask. It is also called AI search visibility, generative engine optimisation (GEO) or answer engine optimisation (AEO). BotSay measures it every week and shows you how to improve it.

Weekly reading

A fresh reading every Monday.

Every week BotSay reads every question on every engine and tells you what changed, in a sentence you can repeat, with the number behind it.

  • In your inbox. The reading arrives by email on Monday morning, so the people who only need the headline never have to log in.
  • One clear sentence. You moved up, you held your place, or a rival passed you. Said plainly, with the figure and last week's beside it.
  • The same every week. Every question, every engine, every Monday, so each reading compares cleanly with the one before.

  • Quick decisions. Small choices that make your numbers more accurate, like confirming which sites are yours. Each says what it changes.

Answers and sources

Read what AI says about you.

The actual sentences each engine wrote about your brand and your competitors, and every page those answers linked to.

  • Grouped by question. Answers sit under the question that produced them, so you can read how each engine handles it.
  • The ones to read first. Sort by how favourably you are described, so the answers worth fixing come to the top.
  • Every source, counted. Which pages the engines cited, how often, and whether they are yours, a competitor's, or somewhere you could be.

Results

See whether it worked.

Tell us the day you publish. BotSay follows the questions that work was meant to win and shows you what changed.

  • Before and after. The same questions, read the same way, before and after your publish date.
  • Credit where it is due. See which pieces of work moved your numbers, so you know what to do more of.
  • Results you can report. We show a result once there is enough to be sure of it, so what you report holds up.
