Where Profound's pricing bites: Enterprise for brands is priced in a demo
| BotSay | Profound | |
|---|---|---|
| Price a month | Yes: $59, $139 or $359, published | Custom, learned in a demo |
| Questions | Yes: 60, 150 or 400 | Custom number |
| Add-ons | Yes: None, everything included | For brands, more AI Marketer credits need an Enterprise package |
- Profound's pricing page prices its Enterprise plan for brands as Custom, with a tailored number of questions. To learn the price, you ask for a demo.
- If a brand goes past its question limit, Profound's pricing FAQ says it will help explore expansion options. It publishes no price for more questions on a brand plan.
- Profound's AI Marketer runs on credits, and more credits need an Enterprise package.
BotSay's price is fixed each month and includes everything: all six engines, the competitor panel, the action list and your results. There are no add-ons. The plans differ only in how many questions they read, so you can budget before you talk to anyone, and moving up costs the price on the pricing page.
Profound reads every day and publishes no test for a real change
Profound runs each question once a day on each engine (its glossary), and its charts show change by comparing the dates you pick with a comparison period (its help centre). We read Profound's glossary, Answer Engine Insights page and guides to its reports on 23 Sep 2026, and its pricing page again on 25 Sep 2026, and found no likely range for its figures and no test for when a change is real. More daily reads, without a range or a real-change test, do not tell you whether you moved.
BotSay prints Mention rate with its likely range and labels a real change
BotSay asks the same questions of the same six engines every week, then compares the week with the one before. Your Mention rate comes with its likely range, the span the true figure almost certainly sits in, and the number of answers behind it. Each question adds six answers a week, one per engine, and more answers narrow the range. Our guide How many questions do you need to track AI visibility? shows the range each plan gives you.
When last week's range and this week's do not overlap, the change is real, and BotSay labels it so. BotSay runs the exact test for you, which also finds real changes whose ranges overlap a little. Share of voice, Average rank, Your pages cited and Sentiment show each week's figure and how it moved. Below, eight weeks of an invented brand's Mention rate, each with its range: the ranges overlap week to week until the last, when the rate rises clear of the week before, the one real change.
The figures as a table
| Week | Mention rate | Likely range (%) |
|---|---|---|
| Seven weeks ago | 26.9% | 24.2 to 29.7 |
| Six weeks ago | 27.5% | 24.8 to 30.3 |
| Five weeks ago | 26.4% | 23.8 to 29.2 |
| Four weeks ago | 27.2% | 24.5 to 30.0 |
| Three weeks ago | 28.1% | 25.4 to 31.0 |
| Two weeks ago | 27.4% | 24.7 to 30.2 |
| Last week | 27.8% | 25.1 to 30.7 |
| This week | 34.0% | 31.1 to 37.0 |

BotSay reads six engines on every plan and shows the searches behind each answer
Profound's Enterprise plan lists ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, DeepSeek, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Exa Search, at a Custom price you learn in a demo. Profound captures answers from the engines' websites in a browser, rather than through their APIs (its Answer Engine Insights page).
Every BotSay plan reads ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, at a price you can read now. BotSay asks them through each provider's official developer access or a licensed search-data provider, with web search switched on where the engine offers it. For every answer, BotSay shows the searches the engine ran to write it (see the product).
BotSay ranks the work by how many questions it could win
Profound offers AI Marketer, an assistant that identifies opportunities and acts on recommendations you approve, and runs on credits. BotSay's action list comes with every plan and ranks each piece of work by how many of your questions it could win, with the answers behind it:
- Pages to write: topics where rivals are named and you are not.
- Places to be mentioned: the review sites, communities and publishers the engines lean on, and whether you are on them.
- Quick decisions: small choices that make your numbers more accurate, like confirming which sites are yours.
Every plan also includes the competitor panel, which shows where you stand against your rivals on the five measures each week.
- 1Novaly41.2%
- 2TesseraYou34.0%
- 3Pinefield26.3%
- 4Kestrel Pay19.8%
- 5Orbita12.1%
Example, using an invented brand
Once you publish, BotSay follows the questions that work was meant to win and labels a change in Mention rate once it is real.
